By filing your claim electronically, information is submitted more efficiently and with fewer errors. This system benefits our patients because the turnaround time on claims is faster and fewer claims are returned of denied. In our office we use digital radiography which allows us to take digital images using 90% less radiation than conventional x – rays. Using this technology, we are able to take a digital image of your mouth by using a small sensor which records the image of your teeth and sends it to a computer. The result is a highly detailed image of your mouth that can easily be enhanced to better diagnosis dental concerns and determine the very best treatment for each individual case. Without a digital image of the whole tooth and supporting bone and gum tissues, there would be no way to detect infection or pathology that requires attention.
Our office is equipped with a specially designed state of the art sterilization center to provide maximum patient protection. We also utilize dental units with their own sterilized water supply. Our office strictly adheres to the Guidelines and Standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and health Administration (OSHA) as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA). After each patient, all surfaces are cleaned with sterilizing agents. All dental handpieces and instruments are heat sterilized after each patient and kept in a sterile environment in the treatment room, just before they are used for you.
